Tyler asked to meet Margaret alone.
He admitted helping Denise access Edward’s old files.
She told him they were organizing the estate.
Tyler scanned surveys, insurance policies, and tax records.
He did not know she sent them to a lender.
He also admitted editing earlier family videos to make Margaret look confused.
Denise posted clips privately to relatives.
The edits removed context.
In one, Margaret appeared unable to remember a date.
The full recording showed Denise had given her the wrong date first.
In another, Margaret appeared to repeat a question.
The full video showed loud music prevented her from hearing the answer.
Denise had been building a false picture of mental decline.
If Margaret refused to sign the transfer, the family planned to challenge her capacity.
Tyler began crying.
“I thought it was just family drama.”
Margaret answered:
“That phrase protects many cruel things.”
