Martha objected.
“Do not erase the difference between fear and cruelty.”
Alexander said, “He allowed you to be assaulted.”
“Yes.”
“He admitted it.”
“Yes.”
“Why protect him?”
“I am not protecting him. I am asking for proportion.”
Marcus received a suspension and mandatory retraining.
