Vivian’s defense hired an expert.
He claimed the dinner video angle made the contact appear more direct than it was.
According to him, Vivian’s foot struck Claire’s hip.
The abdominal injury could have resulted from the fall.
Claire’s obstetrician disagreed.
The bruise pattern appeared above the hip.
