Celeste entered federal court wearing a plain navy suit.
No pendant.
No designer bag.
No stolen name.
She faced charges including wire fraud, identity theft, procurement fraud, conspiracy, forged-document use, and attempted financial theft.
Graham had pleaded guilty to several charges and agreed to testify.
His cooperation reduced his sentence.
It did not spare him prison.
The prosecution displayed photographs from the company lobby.

The visitor system identifying both women as Eleanor Whitlock.
The jury then saw emails written from the fake account.

“It was not a medal,” Ellie explained. “It was a private gift marking years of work.”
“Why did Ms. Monroe wear it?”
“To make people associate her with my service.”
“Did you authorize that?”
“No.”
“Did you authorize the use of your name, biography, signature, or photographs?”
“No.”
Celeste’s lawyer suggested Ellie neglected her marriage during deployment.
Ellie looked directly at the jury.
“Deployment created distance. It did not create forged documents.”
“Your husband felt abandoned.”
“Then he could have asked for a divorce.”
“Isn’t it true he managed the home and company alone?”
“He managed them with money from my trust, support from our daughter, and authority he later claimed belonged only to him.”
The attorney asked whether Ellie wanted revenge.
“No.”
“What do you want?”
“The record to show that absence is not consent.”
The jury convicted Celeste on every major count.
She received a lengthy federal sentence and forfeited the offshore money, lake house, jewelry, copied pendants, and Sentinel North assets.
Graham received prison time, restitution, and a permanent ban from federal contracting and executive control of Whitlock Strategic Systems.
Before officers led him away, he looked at Ellie.
“I never thought you would come home early.”
