The insurer delay that brought Mark into Warren AeroMed had not been accidental.
Vanessa worked for the bank processing the payments at the time.
She flagged Warren AeroMed’s reimbursements for extended review.
The delay lasted seven weeks.
The company nearly missed payroll and fuel payments.
Mark’s restructuring firm appeared with a solution.
Vanessa later removed the internal bank messages showing she created the hold.
One backup survived.
It contained her instructions.

Mark’s employer was Mercer Restructuring.
He received a commission for bringing in Warren AeroMed.
The crisis he solved had been manufactured by his secret partner.
George welcomed Mark because the company appeared days from collapse.
Claire fell in love with the man she believed saved her father’s life’s work.
In reality, Mark and Vanessa had set the fire and arrived carrying water.
The discovery changed the financial case.
It also reopened George’s final months.

If she testified fully against Mark, prosecutors would recommend a reduced sentence.
