Children’s clothing.

Within a year, the account made nearly $600,000.
Claire told the court she earned less than $40,000 from freelance marketing.
The remaining money went through a company called Dawson Family Media.
Meredith controlled it.
She paid Claire a small monthly salary and kept the rest for “production expenses.”
Those expenses included vacations.
Designer bags.
A new SUV.
Thousands of dollars in bar and restaurant bills for Claire’s sisters.
Lily received toys from sponsors, but many were returned after filming.
Meredith called it efficient.
Nathan discovered the hidden page when another military parent sent him a clip.
In the video, Lily was crying because Claire pretended Nathan had forgotten Christmas.
The caption read:

Nathan contacted his attorney, Rebecca Shaw.
They preserved the videos and filed an emergency motion.
Claire deleted several posts.
Meredith claimed the account was satire and that Lily loved performing.
At the hearing, Claire played cheerful clips of Lily dancing.
She told the judge Nathan misunderstood social media.
The court issued a final warning but did not remove Lily because no physical danger had been proven.
Nathan looked at Claire outside the courtroom.
“You know she hates this.”
Claire crossed her arms.
“She asks to be in videos.”
“She asks whether you’ll be angry if she refuses.”
“You’re filling her head with fear.”
“No. I’m the one listening when she tells me she’s afraid.”
Claire walked away.
Meredith had already convinced her that admitting the truth would destroy everything.
If the court learned about the hidden income, Claire could face fraud charges.
If sponsors discovered Lily objected, contracts could disappear.
Meredith reminded Claire of that every time she hesitated.
“We are all tied together now.”
Soon, punishment became part of production.
If Lily refused a scene, she lost her tablet.
If she cried at school, Claire filmed an apology video.
If she asked to call Nathan, Meredith said she was betraying her mother.
Then a family-content agency offered a major contract.
The contract required exclusive rights to Lily’s image for five years.
Nathan’s signature was necessary.
Meredith decided they would not ask him.
