The forensic audit uncovered a document Thomas claimed he had forgotten.
Susan Porter’s original trust contained a special clause.
If Evelyn’s shares were ever transferred through coercion, fraud, or incapacity claims, control would automatically revert to an independent board chosen by Evelyn.

Marcus’s name came first.
Profits from remaining contracts funded equipment testing and survivor compensation.
Employees received partial ownership.
The company survived.
Not as a family empire.
As an organization forced to answer to the people affected by its decisions.
At the first board meeting, an executive asked Evelyn whether keeping Porter in the name honored Thomas.
“No.”
She looked at Susan’s photograph.
“It honors the woman who built something before others corrupted it.”
The company’s lobby displayed two photographs.

Marcus Vale, engineer and whistleblower.
Derek’s portrait was removed.
Thomas’s name disappeared from the executive floor.
