The investigation widened within a week.
What began as a ruined wedding became a corporate fraud case involving shell vendors, forged legacy credentials, false event contracts, and stolen client rights.
Vanessa had been the face of the wedding fraud.
But Richard had opened the first doors.
Years earlier, after Rose died, he contacted minor vendors connected to Whitmore Hotels and claimed to represent the Hart legacy account.
He used Rose’s old paperwork.
